Google[X], the moonshot factory
Non-Disclosure Agreement: I will only disclose non-proprietary information regarding my work at Google[X]. All images are public knowledge.
I was one of the youngest Robotics Interns ever at Google[X], the moonshot factory in Mountain View, CA in 2019, and my experience there inspired a lot of creativity and out-of-the-box thinking in the technical space for me.
During my internship, I spearheaded multiple robotics research projects that allowed me to rapidly prototype and iterate on unique ideas, using a variety of manufacturing processes to do so.
On top of the creative prototyping and research, I also created custom fixtures for lifecycle testing of various components.
The image above from Wired.com shows the robot base, and the gif to the left from x.company shows the full robot opening a door.
