Lead Production Assistant, Operations & Video Editing
Urban Fitness Xtreme (UFX) is a professional sports league providing a dynamic convergence of extreme calisthenics, style and music. Each team is comprised of men and women. The teams consist of city based franchises from all over the USA competing for the championship title. The 2023 championships were held at Brooklyn Steel in December.
I organized interviews with 25 athletes and collaborated with the editor, media team, & other production assistants to create 45-second profiles for 23 athletes using Premiere Pro graphics packages. I had a time frame of 3 hours to get all the interviews done and I coordinated the movement of the athletes to complete all interviews in 2.5 hours.
The live event gained enough exposure and production value to help the UFX organization land a contract to air live on Fox News in the coming years. Many of the shots used in the trailer & promo for these events were from the interviews I conducted & coordinated.
I used pieces of these interviews to make athlete profiles. One athlete profile I made is shown above and was played during the live event.
During the live event, I executed scoreboard controls, including live on-screen graphics, during the live event and filming for broadcast. The photo to the right shows myself and my teammate, Shane Killen, coordinating controls live during the production.
